Fall Duck and Goose Hunting in Canada
Here at Michitoba Outfitting we hunt private agricultural land located in the richest waterfowl habitat in Manitoba. There are thousands of small potholes that dot the area providing the highest density of breeding ducks in all of Manitoba. The area also produces an over abundance of giant Canada geese which have become a serious nuisance to the local farmers. Along with this great habitat are numerous large bodies of water that provide important staging areas for: snows, blues, ross, lesser canada geese, and migrating ducks from the north. Michitoba has exclusive rights to over 30,000 acres of prime agricultural land, and roost water. We rotate fields and can always put you on the “X” to hunt low pressure birds! This is some of the finest duck and goose hunting in Canada!
Your day will begin in a scouted grain field for: snow and blue geee, ross’s geese, canada geese, mallard, pintail, wood duck, and the occasional wigeon. We will either set up with an electronic caller using snow and blue goose decoys or a mix of snow, blue, Canada, and duck decoys using conventional calls, depending on the situation. We use Final Approach layout blinds, Big Foot full body decoys, Avery GHG motion full bodies, Avery GHG motion full body mallard and pintail decoys, sillosocks, and sillosock fliers. Your morning duck or goose hunt will be fully guided, we will not drop you off at a field like most other outfitters do. Your guide will work the birds in and call the shot when they’re feet down, right in front of your face. Many mornings full limits are taken. If you do not shoot your limit of ducks or choose not to, your guide will set you up in a field or small pothole for a relaxing afternoon of duck hunting. You will hunt over a large spread of Avery GHG motion full body mallard and pintail decoys with a spinning wing decoy or two. Your 3 day hunt will include: 3 morning hunts, and 2 afternoon hunts. Our lodging facility is located right where we hunt so drive time is 30 minutes or less.

Canada Geese: 5 daily (15 in possession)
Snow and blue geese, Ross: 20 daily (80 in possession)

All inclusive 3 day: $1500.00 usd plus 5% gst tax ($400 each additional day)Includes: 2.5 day hunt, guide, lodging, meals, and license
Waterfowl hunts in the spring and fall do not include: airfare, transportation to our lodge, alcohol, bird cleaning, and gratuities.
